It's no exaggeration that knowing your sales talk inside and out is THE biggest factor in your success here.Ideally, you should start memorizing your sales talk a week before Sales Academy starts to give yourself enough time to memorize it properly.
During Sales Academy, you’ll be bombarded with a lot of other information to learn and remember about many other important topics besides just your sales talk. Learning it ahead of time will keep you from getting overwhelmed.
You should first memorize the parts of the sales talk in the following order - Close, Introduction, Approaches - and then the rest. The group of people who designed our sales talk it have a combined 140 years of sales experience, and IT WORKS, but it only works if you do it verbatim.
Don't be lazy; learn your sales talk before Sales Academy!!
Listen to this CT Audio to find why knowing your Sales Talk and practicing it after Sales Academy is even more important than learning it before Sales Academy!

1) Only memorize the speaking . Don't worry about any of the mannerisms described or why things are written a certain way. The "why" of what you are saying and the best way to say it effectively will be taught in sales school. Only focus on the words and on "what" you are saying.
2) Memorize by speaking the words out loud. Your mind processes information 7 times faster than your mouth, so if you only memorize the words in your mind, you will jumble the words when you speak them out loud; your mind will always be ahead of what you are saying. I know that sounds a little funny, but trust me on that point! 3) Have others help you by getting a friend or family member to sit and be your “client” while you practice giving your sales talk to them. The more you practice, the quicker the words will become natural to you!
